Cegin Hedyn is a volunteer-supported community canteen and kitchen in Carmarthen, set up in response to the cost of living crisis. It sells healthy, hearty food on a pay-what-you-can basis: you can pay the suggested donation or extra if you can afford it, or nothing at all if you can’t.
I created the logo initially using linoprint, then photoshopped to clean it up and add colour. We wanted a rustic, wholesome feel that reflected the aim of the place to be a seed kitchen where things – community, abundance, kindness – can grow.
