I was delighted to have been commissioned by The Children’s Commissioner for Wales to create a series of 12 narrative illustrations to tell the story of Sam, a young boy who is being cyber-bullied. The Children’s Commissioner, based in Swansea, wanted an illustrator to create image that would help young people engage with their thoughts and feelings on the subject, and hopefully show how they can spot the signs, intervene, and know where to turn for help.
The illustration style is loose and energetic, with a fixed colour palette; nevertheless facial expressions and movement have been carefully depicted.
I also created a series of publications, in English and Welsh, full of activities for primary, secondary school and easy-read audiences.
