CASCADE is Cardiff University’s Children’s Social Care Research and Development Centre. They’ve worked very closely with care-experienced people, and are actively seeking to reduce the inequality experienced by people who’ve been in care. Dr Hannah Bayfield commissioned me to create the look and feel of a website which informs and signposts help for care-experienced people who are interested in going to university, along with illustrations, that would be welcoming for all users including those who are minoritised.
You can visit the website here – the coding is done by the magician that is Gwyn Fisher
I’ve been told that the site has gone down very well with the users, so that’s great to hear!
